The Course
NOTE: This course has a different code and price when studied with Health and Social Care Level 4: DF4LH1 for September start or DF4LA1 for April start.

Following a successful trial offering this dual qualification as a training package, we have decided to offer College based students the opportunity to gain a single or dual award should their job role allow. This course offers the underpinning knowledge for the Leadership and Management Award and/or NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care. Assessment of skills in the workplace will be supported by classroom content that will offer all students the opportunity to look at issues in the care sector and CSCI requirements in depth, building on the expertise and experience of the student group.

Entry Requirements
Candidates wishing to undertake the LMA should hold an NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and be working in a managerial role. Candidates working in a senior care role who hold a Level 3 Health and Social Care can progress onto a Level 4 and benefit from the knowledge and understanding of fellow students working at a managerial level.
