Course Description:

If you want to go into a career in the motor vehicle mechanic industry then this course may be for you. You will gain an IMI Level one Award in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, which is equal to two GCSEs at grades D-G. The course is made up of seven units covering a range of vehicle systems together with servicing requirements. Half of the activities will take place in an industry standard workshop on current vehicles and components. Your tutor will assess your practical and theory work. You will also do a multiple choice test using a computer.
