Entry Requirements
- All applicants must be Graduate Corporate Members, Fellows or Companions of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
- In addition, applicants must have 3 years experience in a personnel related function.

- Suitable for personnel practitioners who have already achieved professional membership of the CIPD and have at least three years experience of operational personnel management.
- The CIPD qualification will count for 110 Credit Accumulation and Transfer (CAT) points towards the 180 points required for a MSc award. The MSc is therefore suitable for recent CIPD graduates who wish to extend their specialist knowledge, or for more experienced personnel professionals who wish to update themselves on recent developments in management science.

Tuition and Support
The MSc lasts for nine months and requires attendance at four intensive two day workshops. Participants will benefit from sharing information and working closely with colleagues in learning sets. We strongly believe that the cross fertilisation of experiences enhance the benefit of any taught programme.
Assessment
Assessment is by a set assignment on an aspect of HR strategy which has to be completed within the first three months. In the remaining six months you will undertake a supervised research project culminating in the submission of a 15,000 - 30,000 word dissertation.
