Length of Course:

• 17 weeks: one day per week starting September and again in February or
• 34 weeks: one evening per week from September

Days & Times:

Courses start the week commencing 14th September 2009

• Days: 17 weeks (Mon 8.30am - 3.30pm or Tues 8.30am - 3.30pm)
• Evenings: 34 weeks (Mon 6pm - 9pm or Wed 6pm - 9pm)

Additional days may be offered subject to enrolment.

The 17 week courses will be offered again from 15th February 2010.

Course Description: The NEBOSH National General Certificate is a qualification designed to help those with Health and Safety responsibilities (i.e. Managers, Supervisors and Employee Representatives) to discharge more effectively their organisational duties and functions.

The NEBOSH General Certificate is an ideal stepping stone to obtain a professional qualification such as the NEBOSH National Diploma.

The syllabus is divided into three parts:

• Part A1: The Management of Safety
• Part A2: The Identification and Control of Hazards
• Part B: A Practical Assessment of a Work Environment
