Course Details

The College certificate is a basic qualification covering the testing and inspection of electrical equipment. It is aimed at those with no experience in this field but wish to develop a basic understanding of the subject. The course has a more in-depth view and more practical hands on experience. The certificate is for those who undertake the relevant inspection and testing and covers the important areas of recording, interpretation of results and labeling of equipment. Equipment construction Inspection Combined inspection Recording Testing of particular types of equipment.

Qualifications required:
There are no formal qualifications required but learners should be involved in the inspection and testing of electrical equipment and show an interest in the subject.

One day per week over two weeks
