Is it right for me?
This is a one'day course designed to give candidates an understanding of the principles and practice of risk assessment and to "debunk" some of the myths attached to it. It will enable you to understand and carry out risk assessments using a practical approach based on the 5 step principle, as well as looking at assessments required under other legislation such as Manual Handling, CoSHH and Display Screen Equipment. This course can be adapted to meet the needs of individuals and organisations.
