This qualification is recognised by the Institute of Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators and can be used for Continuing Professional Development for its members.

Some knowledge of either rural/farming business or administration.

The course consists of four units:
- Preparation and maintenance of rural business accounts
- Payroll, legal and management records for rural business staff
- Legislative, farm assurance and production records for livestock
- Legislative, farm assurance and production records for crops
