Content This is an elementary course in seamanship, navigation and meteorology. It is intended as an integral part of the overall training for the Competent Crew & Day Skipper and as an introductory course to the Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore course. Syallbus includes: Nautical terms, Anchor Work, Safety, International regulations for preventing collisions at sea, Navigational charts & instruments, Meteorology Chartwork, Position fixing, Tides and tidal streams, Pilotage, Visual aids to navigation, Passage planning.
