Course description
This course is designed for anyone wishing to learn how to use the SAGE Accounting package or to gain a first qualification in practical computerised accounting. Students will learn how to create new accounts in the purchase, sales and nominal ledgers, how to post invoices, credit notes, payments and receipts to the ledgers and produce various management reports including a trial balance, statements and aged debtors and creditor†s analysis.

Final award
Level 1 is assessed by one exam of one hour in duration.
Level 2 is assessed by one exam of two hours in duration.

Entry requirements
No formal qualifications are needed but familiarity with a computer keyboard and basic numeracy skills are required. Knowledge of basic book-keeping would be an advantage.
