Spanish for Work: Basic Operational
This is a Higher National unit worth 3 credits. You will learn to read, write, listen and speak in Spanish at an upper-intermediate level. This is an accelerated Spanish course that places the emphasis on Spanish for business. You will have access to a number of resources which will help you with your learning. There are a number of in-class assessments throughout the year and will include assessments in speaking, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and written correspondence in Spanish. You will be certificated for the unit if you pass all the internal assessments.

You should have a good command of English and ideally have studied it or a foreign language to Standard Grade or equivalent.

You can progress to Higher Spanish.
