The course is designed nationally and allows candidates to progress further within the plumbing industry with employment as a plumber.
Assessment:
Students undertake practical assessment tasks throughout this course, and a 3-day block of attendance from 9am-5pm (between February-July) within their second year, plus online City & Guilds examinations (multiple choice) during their learning programme,

VRQ 6129 Level 3 Technical Certificate allows entry into the plumbing industry and progression onto NVQ 6089 Level 3 with work based evidence.
Entry Requirements:
The VRQ 6129 Level 3 Technical Certificate is designed as a continuation from the basic plumbing certificate 6129 or the NVQ 6089 level 2. The qualification is intended to enhance the skills and knowledge of a student studying plumbing.
Content:
All our courses are designed to cover the full range of topics and tasks as laid down by the awarding body in response to industry requirements. All practical activities are carried out within out start of the art workshops with theory work being a mix of classroom and assignment activities. The topics include:
