COURSE STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
The syllabus covers:
- Health and Safety awareness
- Care and conditioning fresh flowers
- Basic arrangements
- Novelty - silk and dried
- Practical skills development
- Colour and design
- Flowers for special occasions e.g Christmas, party gift
- Simple Mosaic
ASSESSMENT
The course is assessed by practical skills achieved in a coursework folder. You will need to submit 2 craft items for verification.
WHERE COULD THE COURSE LEAD?
You can progress through the 2 stages of NCFE qualifications and then the National Certificate in Floristry.
