Working with Flowers NCFE Level 1 & Level 2

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE COURSE?
There are no formal entry requirements other than a genuine interest in Flower Arranging. For entry on to level 2 you should have obtained the level 1.

COURSE STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
The syllabus covers:

  • Health and Safety awareness
  • Care and conditioning fresh flowers
  • Basic arrangements
  • Novelty - silk and dried
  • Practical skills development
  • Colour and design
  • Flowers for special occasions e.g Christmas, party gift
  • Simple Mosaic


ASSESSMENT
The course is assessed by practical skills achieved in a coursework folder. You will need to submit 2 craft items for verification.

WHERE COULD THE COURSE LEAD?
You can progress through the 2 stages of NCFE qualifications and then the National Certificate in Floristry.
