The Course
Often we get asked how can we deliver what is needed in only two days? The course is delivered in a friendly, informal yet interactive way, which promotes learning. Each session is limited to small numbers so the trainers can spend time on your issues. Each session is different because we treat people as individuals.
Our training is centred on what you need - not what you don’t. We understand your time is important to you.
Course Content
Day 1 is largely centred upon the “classroom” element briefly covering the relevant legislation, static load manual handling, the body, injuries, risk assessments, barriers the trainer is likely to faced with in the real world and what to do about them.
On day 2 is mainly the practical day dealing with the bed moves as well as other people moving techniques
Price & Duration2 Day intensive course including full course material, refreshments and lunch only £499+vat
Accreditation
The course is accredited at level 3 for the trainer and may be accredited at level 2 for your carer. Accreditation is via the UK accreditation body the OCN.
