Assessment

Functional skills are embedded throughout the course, you may be required to take an exam and/or complete a portfolio to achieve these.
The course is made up of a number of units and assessments of these units will be through practical workshops and performance and an on-going portfolio. Final assessments will take place at the end of the year in the shape of a collaborative performance.

Course programme


You learn through practical performance workshops, rehearsals and live performance projects both on stage and in front of a camera. All activities will be underpinned by developing core acting skills and techniques.




The course is made up of practical and theory projects and workshops giving learners the opportunity to expand their horizons within the field of Performing Arts acting and specific disciplines. These include film and TV acting, principles of acting, drama improvisation, physical theatre, devising and understanding production elements of performance.
