Course programme
If you see yourself acting on a stage at the West End or being the next big thing on the small screen, then taking the Performing Arts Level 3 in Acting will prepare you for further study or for you to go into employment in your dream career.
During the course, you will study both practical and theoretical principles of acting, such as improvisation and historical context of theatre, while working towards a public performance. You will work with tutors and peers to develop your skills. This course is one to two years long.
What will I study?
- Classical theatre, audition for actors, theatre in education, acting, site specific performance
- Principles of acting and developing movement skills for actors
- Theoretical units including historical context of theatre and performing arts business
- Audio performance
