Entry Requirements
You must have three GCSEs at grade D, ideally including Drama or a Level 1 Diploma at Pass (in Performing Arts) plus Functional Skills at Level 1 in Literacy or GCSE English at grade D. An audition at interview is required.

1 year – Full time.

The UAL Level 2 Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) gives learners the opportunity to explore a variety of performance skills with a view to progressing to the Level 3 90 Credit Diploma and Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting).

Course Assessment
Although the course is mainly practical, you will also work on research projects based on companies and organisations within the Arts Industry. Assessment is continuous throughout the course with all practical rehearsals and performance being recorded for assessment.
Progression
Upon successful completion of the qualification at Merit level you will be able to apply for the Level 3 90 Credit Diploma and Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting). This will prepare you for study at Drama School or University.
