Well, look no further; If you have a strong interest in performing and great enthusiasm for musical theatre, then this course is aimed at you. , , From day one you'll take part in practical classes where you'll develop and apply skills in acting, singing and dancing. To support this work you'll investigate the background of musical theatre using research, presentation and written formats., , As your practical skills develop you'll set about analysing and evaluating your progress through logbooks and practice diaries. Projects may be either lecturer-led or student-led depending on your chosen material. , , Importantly, you'll have regular opportunities to perform in musical theatre at the College., , ,

Entry requirements You will need five GCSEs at grade C or successful completion of a First Diploma in the Performing Arts with Merit profile., , Unless under exceptional circumstances, a minimum grade C in English Language GCSE is required., , You will also be required to take part in an audition where we will assess your potential. You will sing a musical theatre song of your choice, perform a monologue which will be given to you to learn and participate in a dance workshop., 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method You will be continually assessed through observation in class, course work and through performance.
