Creating perfumes from start to finish is and exciting and worthwhile craft.
You will explore both essential and fragrance oils and learn to classify them. We will cover perfume notes and how to effectively use them to create your signature scent.
We will take a journey into history to get a glimpse of how perfumes were made.
The course is designed for you to create perfumes from essential oils and fragrance oils.
You will learn to sort your oils into perfume notes and blend them to create a perfume.
On the day day you will learn to blend the following
Spray perfume- women
Cologne - men
Perfume oil
Body Splash
At the end of the you will take home all the perfumes you have created and you will be equiped with the knowlegde how to create your own blends at home.

By the end of the courses the learner will be able to:

1. Recognise and identify the equipment needed for homemade perfumes.

2. Differentiate between essential oils and fragrance oils.

3. Blend oils together to create a perfume oil.

4. Blend oils and alcohol to create a spray perfume.

5. Group a number of scents into base, middle and top notes.

6. Store ingredients correctly.

7. Know a brief history of perfumes.

8. Understand safety concerns in making homemade perfumes.

Perfumery is an age old art created centuries ago. Today perfumes can be made at home just as it was in times past.

 This course gives you the knowledge to do so. It gives you an opportunity to learn this age-old skill.
