What is this course about? The central purpose of the CPP is to develop competence in a range of core personnel and development skills together with the necessary underpinning knowledge and understanding.
Who is this course for? If you are working in, or planning a career move into Personnel/ Human Resources or if you are in a management post with key staff responsibilities, this is the course for you.
What do I need to get on the course? You must have a standard of English equivalent to GCSE A-C grade. Before enrolment on the course, you will be required to undertake a written exercise to ensure your written English meets the standard required. You should be employed in Human Resources, Personnel or Administration with some people management responsibilities.
The focus on the core skills required in managing or working effectively with people makes the programme suited to a wide range of individuals such as:

What qualification will I get? The Certificate is a foundation level programme at an equivalent level to NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Personnel Support.The certificate is awarded through the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).

· Provide a foundation for the CIPD Professional Qualifications.
How do I get on the course?
You will be required to undertake the written assessment exercise and be given further information about the course during the open evening on the 6th January 2010. Following successful completion of the written exercise you will be authorised to enrol on the programme, for which places are offered on a `first come first served` basis.
How much does the course cost?
· £1100 tuition fees payable to the College,
· A joining fee and annual membership fee payable to CIPD (approx £150)
Fees to the College can be paid by cheque, Direct Debit (3 instalments) or letter of sponsorship from an employer.
The college does not offer any assistance with funding for this course
