Learn how to incorporate photography into etching, starting with straightforward black and white photocopies. Using photo-etch film you will be shown how to transfer your image onto a plate to create unique and expressive prints. On the second day you will be shown methods of inking-up and printing, including colour roll-ups. Suitable for anyone with previous knowledge of etching, although this is not essential as photo-etching is a technique in itself.

Sean is based at Hot Bed Press printmaker’s studio in Salford . He exhibits his work widely, and this is a great opportunity to benefit from his expertise.
