VTCT Level 2 Award in: The Art Of Photographic Makeup
Students will receive their practical training over 3 days in our makeup studio. This can be 3 consecutive days or one day a week over 3 weeks. You will then be expected to practice at home over the following three weeks until you feel confident enough to be assessed on 3 occasions for competence by your tutor, or another assessor at our academy makeup studio. All 3 assessments will take place on the same day (4th day).
For your tutor to assess your practice you will be expected to demonstrate to your tutor once or twice a week over Skype so your tutor can verify your progress. During these three weeks you will also be expected to visit our online knowledge site called Socrative and complete your knowledge test online.
Once you have completed your observations and have been found competent by your assessor and your folder assessed by our IQA, you will need to return one more time (5th day) to our makeup studio to meet with our EQA who will also assess your competence. You will not receive your qualification until our EQA has assessed you.
You can expect to receive your qualification 6 to 8 weeks after you have completed your course successfully
