Course programme

This course focuses on developing skills of using the camera for documentary/photojournalism.
To develop techniques of capturing the visual essence of a story and to capture and communicate that moment.

This is a course, which will give you some technical support as well as practical based shooting. We will spend some of the week outdoors following, or creating a story to document.
Required equipment is a digital 35mm camera with a manual setting as well as an automatic mode. A digital SLR with interchange lens.

There are some points that you will get after joining the course:
- To be able to use the camera 35mm in all of its manual functions.
- To know various lenses and for which situation it would be suitable to use.(medium, zoom, standard)
- Will learn the preparations of live events-on the spot news.
- How to capture and illustrate a story with images, and the editing process.
- To be able to shoot ceremonies, awards etc

On Saturday, you will be attending an event as a part of your photography journalism practice.
