The BSc (Hons) in Physical Education and Coaching programme teaches the key elements of physical education and sports coaching. You will develop your practical coaching skills and experience through work placements in various schools, colleges or sports club environments.

You will also develop an understanding of the requirements of working within the education and sports coaching sectors and gain valuable experience of coaching multisports. Tailored to provide you with the knowledge, skills and experience to pursue careers in education and/or sports coaching, the course is focused on enabling you to thrive in your professional careers.

Students will also take part in lectures, practical sessions, project work and tutorials. You will learn from an experienced course team with expertise in many aspects of physical education and sports coaching, and will work in a multi-purpose sports hall, sports science gym and on an AstroTurf pitch.
