This course provides both a practical and a theoretical introduction to the various disciplines involved in Physical Education and develops the knowledge and understanding to analyse, evaluate and enhance individual and team techniques, skill and fitnessWe believe the future of research lies in breaking down traditional barriers between academic disciplines so the bigger problems of the 21st century can be considered from human as well as physical perspectives. We have a number of interdisciplinary research themes, which fit closely with international research priorities.

AS practical area of study totals 30% from two different activities, with the remaining 10% comprising of an oral coursework. Theory: 60% at AS, 70% at A Level - including Psychology of Sport, Acquisition of Skill, Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Physiology and more.
