Pilates is a body-conditioning method that works by targeting the deep postural muscles. It works by building strength from the inside out, re-balancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment,and it is a great way to relieve unwanted stress and tension.
We run two classes, one at 16:30 and one at 17:45. Booking is per block of 6 sessions.
What will the course cover and how will it be taught?
The course covers introduction to the principles of alignment, breathing and core stability. During subsequent sessions you will be taught a selection of exercises geared to your individual needs and posture type.
You will be taught by the teacher demonstrating the moves and giving hands-on assistance. Your progress will be monitored by the tutor and she will discuss with you how you are getting on.
