Pilates Teacher

This course is a ten (10) month Course for students that have already completed a mat work course. Priority will be given to Mat Work students from The Pilates Foundation, but all candidates can apply and students are chosen based on their knowledge, experience and of course their strength. Only four students per year can be accepted, in order to guarantee space and time in this small studio. Each student must also complete the apprenticeship at Backlund Pilates Studio.

• The Candidate must have proof of previous mat-work training.
• The Candidate must show proof of sound proof of Anatomy and Physiology.
• The Candidate must have practised Pilates at Backlund Pilates Studio, or proof that they have attended a different Pilates Studio for a minimum of 50 hours.
• The Candidate must have a First Aid Certificate.
• The Candidate must show proof that she/he have taught Matwork for a minimum of 50 hours.
• The Candidate must send a full CV and a letter of motivation
