Planning for Effective Time Management
Do you want to take more control of your workload but don’t know how to go about it? Do you need TIME to reflect on how you can organise yourself, your tasks and your team more effectively? We will help you devise a personal action plan that you can apply to your professional life so that you feel less stressed at work. We will teach you coping strategies including how to:
- Plan your workload
- Monitor your progress
- Clarify key tasks, priorities and responsibilities for yourself and others
- Deal with the tyranny of the ‘urgent’
- Identify your personal ‘time wasters’ and overcome them
- Create more efficient schedules
- Spend quality time on important activities
- Assess the stress factors related to poor time management
- Discuss time management issues with your manager
- Create a personal action plan to improve how you manage your time
About this workshop
- This workshop will involve you in a mixture of interactive exercises and discussion. There will be opportunities to practise your new skills through role playing exercises in a supportive atmosphere.
- Our trainers are experts in their topic and deliver courses in a practical, interactive style
- The maximum number of people on a training course is 12 so that the trainer can accommodate the learning needs of each delegate
- A sandwich lunch and unlimited tea and coffee are included in the price
Timing
Courses start at 9.30 a.m. and end at 4.30 p.m. with half an hour for lunch.

About the Facilitator
Ray
Ray is an accomplished trainer specialising in management development and has more than eighteen years of experience. Ray has worked in the aerospace industry, local and national government organisations, a wide variety of manufacturing and service companies and the National Health Service. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has extensive experience of delivering training for Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) qualifications.
Support available
If your business is located in the West of Scotland you may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of the cost of participating in these courses. There are a number of places available which are reserved for businesses with less than 250 employees and companies must meet certain eligibility criteria.
