This can lead to Level 3 Diploma in Plastering. Students from the College have an impressive record of achievement and have gone on to work with some of the country's leading construction companies. This can lead to employment in local authority maintenance teams, construction companies or self employment.

What are the entry requirements?

You should have Level 1 Dipoma in Plastering/ NVQ Level 1, which can be studied at the college. Applicants also need to be employed or self-employed to enable work-based assessment to be carried out for an NVQ.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is both practical and theoretical and includes short tests, subject assignments and the completion of work-based evidence books. There is an externally set theory test at the end of the course. Students also meet regularly with tutors to help plan studies and to discuss progress.

What will it cost?

If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances, you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out when you apply.
