Basic Lead Welding and Bossing

This course is designed to develop the lead skills of those working on weathering systems. Candidates will undertake training to achieve standards of competence required to safely produce lead roof components using welding and bossing techniques.

This course is designed for gas and oil fitters, plumbers and anyone involved in the plumbing and heating sector and the installation of condensing boilers and domestic central heating systems. It is a pre-requisite for some renewable energy courses.

Multi-Skill Training (Basic Plumbing)

This course has proven to be very popular with housing associations, maintenance teams and caretakers. In addition to basic plumbing we offer basic carpentry & joinery, blockwork, painting & decorating, plastering and tiling & grouting.

Plumbing & Mechanical Engineering Services NVQ 2 (City & Guilds 6089)

This course is designed for trainees who are working in the plumbing industry. It combines theoretical and practical training covering topics such as hot and cold water systems, sanitation systems and heating systems.

Two years on a day release programme if running with Level 2 Technical Certificate

This course is a progression from the NVQ 2 and is designed for those working in the plumbing industry. It covers the design, installation, maintenance and commissioning of cold and hot water sanitation, heating and domestic gas systems.

Two years on a day release programme if running with the Level 3 Technical Certificate.
