The training will enable the person to: 1. Observe safe working practices. 2. Recognise the construction and classification of portable electrical equipment. 3. Determine the frequency of electrical inspection testing procedures, and record the findings accurately. 4. Carry out portable appliance inspection and testing procedure using dedicated portable appliance testers. 5. State electrical units of measure. 6. Recognise and calculate cable sizes and fuses. 7. Interpret and record the results to meet the legal requirements placed on the company.
