Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, the participant will be able to display and understanding of:
- Regulations: What is required
- Pre-use checks "5 steps" including;
- Workplace checks
- Machine checks
- Personal checks including PPE
- Use of the Equipment
- After use checks
- Use of the equipment including:
- Hazards arising from use
- Precautions to be observed
- Structuring and delivering the training
- Where to source information to create training on particular tools
- Assessing your trainees. Practical and knowledge
Assessment Criteria:
There is no written test but the trainees will be assessed on the practical element. The training involves candidate participation with the emphasis on the practical element of the training. On day two the candidate will carry out a practical training session on which they will be assessed.
