Who the Course is For:
The PTLLS course is ideal for people who are new to training, or people who are looking to obtain a qualification in teaching. The PTLLS qualification is a mandatory element of certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) and acts as a stepping stone to achieving Associate Teacher Learning and SKILLS (ATLS) recognition.
Assessment:
Assessment is by portfolio of evidence supported by observation of micro teaching practices.

Entry Requirements:
Level 2 Literacy and Numberacy assessment is conducted at the outset of the course.
Content:
The course prepares the individual to develop and deliver effective training in the workplace. Candidates wil be exposed to three different teaching models and a range of different methods of engaging students. This will be supported by the exploration of different questioning techniques, skills analysis and the structure of and planning of training sessions. Candidtaes will also be exposed to different learning styles and strategies to meet these in the training enviroment.
