Overview
Do you remember that feeling of exhilaration, satisfaction and success the last time you gave a presentation? No? Well we need to meet... Giving a speech or presentation can be a real challenge; it is often so far outside our 'comfort zone' that we feel uneasy and disturbed. Even those of us who are 'good with people', feel a little daunted at the imposed formality of public speaking. Well we believe it doesn't have to be like that. We believe, and this is a radical thought, it can even be very enjoyable! We believe we can help you see it that way too. You will be able to apply these skills in your role as a manager, leader, delegator, team member, company director, sales person or indeed whatever discipline you work in or aspect you choose to apply these skills and techniques.

Prerequisites
This course is about talking in public, conversing with friends and socialising - and then taking that relaxed and comfortable model into the business environment and still feeling the same way. We'll show you how to structure a speech, how to rehearse and practice it until you feel confident and then how to deliver it with impact and effectiveness.

• We will address the real concerns around public speaking, the 'demons', and how to confront and vanquish them
• We will show you how to structure a presentation or speech and then take you through a step by step approach to build up that content into a 'show stopper'
• The course will cover personal style, strength of voice, content structuring, impact on the audience and the power of rehearsing
• You will receive one to one feedback from a highly experienced tutor
• You will identify throughout the day the natural skills and abilities which make you the communicator you are, you will also identify the areas for improvement and the hidden potential you have to be the best presenter you can be
• At the end of the day you will be ready to take on any public speaking assignment your organisation requires
• You will have your own personal action plan to improve and achieve the success you desire
