You may study Production for Theatre performance, Production Planning, Historical Context of Performance, Performing Arts Business, Performing Arts Production Workshop, Front-of-House, Assistant and Deputy Stage Management, Stage Management, Technical Stage Operations, Stage Lighting and Sound Operations, Prop Making, Scenic Construction and Painting for the Stage and a selection of other units. Progression / Careers
Students from the BTEC National Diploma have often progressed directly to higher education studying Technical Theatre or Production Arts. Now that we have Foundation Degrees at North Devon College you can continue to a higher level, without the stress and financial hassle of leaving home. Some students in the past have gone straight into the profession (Theatre Technician, production support etc).
