The course is presented as a series of briefings, each designed as a valuable introduction to the core programme management concepts from the perspective of the sponsor role. The sessions introduce a variety of tools, techniques and theories that are required to undertake this role and together they provide a comprehensive understanding of the Sponsor’s role and responsibilities within a programme or project environment. The course is a mixture of trainer input, discussion and practical exercises using a case study to apply what has been learnt as well as sharing real life experiences of the subject to relate these to the training.
