To promote animals' health and well-being.

Length of Study:
24 Weeks with Tutor Support.

Entry Requirements:
Must care for at least one animal, preferably and dog or a cat.

Contents:
The Unit includes Animal Welfare, Preventative Health Care and Delivering Basic Health Treatments.

Study Method:
Work or home-based self-study with tutor support.

Assessment:
Written open and closed book assessments. Successful completion results in a College certificate.
