It is ideally suited to students who are new to the publishing industry, offering an overview of the publishing process and the freelance's role within it, and introducing basic proofreading and copy-editing techniques. It also considers where and how to find clients, and guides you step-by-step through the process of setting up as a freelance. At the end of each module is a practical assignment designed to help you develop your proofreading and editing skills.
