Are you fascinated by human behaviour? Do you want to understand why people behave in different ways and what makes people commit even the worst crimes? This course will set you up for a variety of rewarding careers in social services, the police, criminal justice, human resources and education, to name a few. You must be inquisitive, able to back up your decisions, and be a logical thinker. Assessments involve a lot of research, essays and written reports, so you must be prepared to put in a lot of hard work.

Course programme
You will study the behaviour and development of the individual though childhood, adolescence and maturity in relation to crime and criminology. You will come to understand how resources are employed in detecting, preventing and understanding criminal behaviour, as well as the processes of prosecution and detainment of criminals in our justice system. Alongside exploring and evaluating the theory supporting and predicting behaviour in groups, you will grow skills in time management, teamwork and research.
