About this course

- State some key psychological components of ‘wellbeing’.
- Explain typical causes and symptoms of stress and strategies to recover.
- Identify some things which are important to you and how you want to “grow”.
- Understand the importance of work, rest and play and the choices you make.
- Recognise the impact of positive and negative thoughts on wellbeing.
- Identify some key factors for creating positive relationships.

- The importance of our Narrative.

Short presentations, slides, handouts, group work, practical exercises and class discussions. You will be encouraged to reflect on how the theories and concepts may relate to your own experience. There is no formal homework, however, the ability to reflect on and apply learning between sessions will be beneficial.
