This is a practical course exploring and developing how to improve confidence in vocal communication skills for work and social situations. Our aim is for you to understand the effect that individual vocal habits have on public speaking and to gain confidence in speaking in public.

Exercises to help develop use of breath, resonance, placement and articulation.

The working for clarity of speech.

Work will be mainly practical supported by relevant printed hand-outs. You need to be fluent in spoken English. As part of the course content, your tutor may record your image for initial and ongoing assessment purposes. You are entitled to decline to participate in the recording of your image.
