About this course
Every year, about half a million people suffer from musculoskeletal disorders due to work related activities. On average, each of those people had to take 16 days off work, with many never fully recovering from those injuries.
This course is there to help people avoid getting injured in the first place.
Everyone who does manual handling of some sort - and as manual handling is 'any activity that includes lifting or putting down, pulling or pushing, carrying, supporting or moving an object, person or animal, that is everyone!
But as this is a lower level of training, this course is aimed more at those learners who cannot cope with as much information, or are not as fast in learning. For everyone else, we highly recommend doing our full day 'QA Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF)' course.
