The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools course is ideal for those who are already working in a support role in a school, or those who want to seek employment in this area. The course aims to enable learners to understand the roles and responsibilities of those involved in supporting teaching and learning in schools. This qualification requires learners to complete 11 units – consisting of written tasks and observation in a school setting. You will need to complete a minimum of 50 hours in a classroom and have a member of staff at the school (usually the class teacher you are working with) act as an expert witness.

The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is a nationally recognised QCF qualification, awarded by Focus Awards. The course carries 32 credits.
