QSP provides this NVQ qualification to encourage best practice. The award is assessed to a national standard, allowing employees to develop the skills necessary to perform their role effectively.

Method of Delivery

Practical assessment of candidates' on-site competence conducted by a qualified and experienced Awarding Body approved Assessor.

Recognition

On successful completion of this qualification candidates receive an NVQ Certificate of Achievement along with their portfolio which has recorded their achievement to keep as reference.


Waste Management Supervision Level 3

To achieve the award, candidates will need to complete 7 Mandatory units demonstrating that they are competent to:

* Maintain activities to meet waste management requirements
* Support the efficient use of resources on waste management facilities
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships on waste management facilities
* Lead the work of groups and individuals to achieve objectives
* Manage information for action on waste management facilities
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, protection of the environment and other legislation
* Contribute to the maintenance of effective response to emergencies

In addition candidates will have to choose 2 Optional units from an accredited list.
