Demonstrate ability to interpret correctly Rule Book, Track Safety Handbook (TSH) and relevant local instructions when required to go on or near the line. Demonstrate their understanding and ability to follow a safe system of work. Getting to know the infrastructure. Are you fit for work. The Sentinel Scheme. Going on to the railway. Walking & working in a group. Communicating clearly. Emergency situations. Track visit and assessment. Suitable for: All levels and types of hands on practical workers - ideally and typically from the Construction or Engineering sectors. Any person aged 18 or over that are required to carry out duties on or near a railway line and does not currently hold a valid Personal Track Safety Certificate. People aged 16 and 17 may attend and are permitted to hold a PTS Certificate, however they are only permitted on or near the line under the supervision of a Controller of Site Safety.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• A valid medical certificate that meets the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124
• A Valid Drugs and Alcohol Screening indicating a negative result that meets requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051
• A high visibility vest and trousers, blue safety helmet, suitable outdoor clothing and safety footwear with mid-sole protection are required on this event
• NCCA site ID and address of sponsoring organisation.
• Proof of your identity
• 1 passport size colour photograph with a white background
