Course programme

Students are introduced to the diversionary programmes of restorative justice and how in both theory and practices RJ functions as a measure in reducing recidivism among young offenders. Questions are mainly aimed at does RJ work as a rehabilitaion measure; questions aslo address the ideas of the victim and the concepts of restitution; finally, we look at practical exercises to highlight how RJ works in practice and the numerous shortcoings.
