Course programme

This programme will run on an individual basis and your assessor will guide you on how to build a portfolio of evidence which reflects your ability at work. The NVQ is related directly to your job role and helps you to reflect on your performance at work and review your working practices. It provides a personal development opportunity and enhances efficiency within your organisation. Candidates must achieve 24 credits, including one mandatory unit. Mandatory Unit: Work effectively in your retail team Optional Units: The optional unit covers a wide variety of roles within the retail environment including sales; customer service; maintaining stock; promotion of products; stock display and visual merchandising; financial transactions and food preparation. Your assessor will help you to identify the most appropriate units for your individual role.
