The RHS Level 3 qualifications are highly respected within the industry and the academic world. This qualificationcan provide a route into the horticulture profession. An ideal qualification to support career development, such as supervisory or management roles.
The course is delivered at our study centre within the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. You will be taught by a specialized and highly qualified team.

Course programme

Entry Requirements

Tere are no pre-requisites for entry to the RHS Level 3 qualification. However, it is strongly recommended that learners have completed a Level 2 horticulture qualification or have equivalent experieince.

Delivery and Assessment

Each unit will be assessed by a seperate written examination covering all learning. Examinations will be offered twice a year in February and June.

Progression

This course can be studied with the RHS Level 3 Certificate on the Principles of Garden Planning, Construction and Planting. If you achieve this qualification, you will have gained a wide range of horticultural knowledge relevant to employment in various roles in the horticultural sector, such as a head gardener or supervisor in private, public, or botanic gardens or parks and urban green spaces.
