The course is delivered at our study centre within the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. You will be taught by a specialized and highly qualified team.

Course programme

Entry Requirements

Tere are no pre-requisites for entry to the RHS Level 3 qualification. However, it is strongly recommended that learners have completed a Level 2 horticulture qualification or have equivalent experieince.

Delivery and Assessment

Each unit will be assessed by a seperate written examination covering all learning. Examinations will be offered twice a year in February and June.

Progression

This course can be studied with the RHS Level 3 Certificate on the Principles of Garden Planning, Construction and Planting. If you achieve this qualification, you will have gained a wide range of horticultural knowledge relevant to employment in various roles in the horticultural sector, such as a head gardener or supervisor in private, public, or botanic gardens or parks and urban green spaces.
