One of the biggest transitions in a persons’ career is the step from a general position to that of a management position, whether as supervisor, team-leader or manager. To go from being a member of the team to leading the team can be daunting and, in many organisations, people are given this role in a ‘sink or swim’ mentality with no formal training or development.

This workshop has been designed to equip newly promoted, or those in post with little or no training, in understanding the role that they have taken on, and its difference to the one they have left or have to manage.

On the workshop you will learn about the role of being starting your career in line management as the supervisor / team-leader, or manager - what this entails, the difference in your role, delegation, and managing the performance of your team.
