Talk: Keats, Shelley, Byron, Blake - and other visionary artists or writers of Hampstead - D.H. Lawrence, Stanley Spencer and John Constable. Walk: High above the city vale, Hampstead: a place of hills, heath and healthy air, known as London's 'lung', which has always attracted writers and artists, but none more so than the Romantics, all of whom have visited or lived in Hampstead at one time or another. We shall be following in the footsteps of Keats, Shelley, William Blake, D.H. Lawrence, Stanley Spencer, Constable and others, finishing at The Bull and Bush.
