Course programme

This course will promote a good understanding of rooftop safety issues and enable delegates to recognise the main rooftop hazards & precautions needed to be taken. The course includes an overview of the Working at Heights Regulations and how the regulations can be implemented whilst working on rooftops and access and egress from the work area.

  • Legislation affecting work on rooftops
  • Working At Height Regulations
  • Activities and accident causation
  • Common hazards associated with rooftop activities.
  • Risk Assessment and control measures
  • Access and egress using ladders (fixed and portable)
